Component System

The Component Education System consists of a series of exclusive modular training aids. These offer a progression of hair sections through which you learn techniques on isolated portions of the head before creating complete designs.

Each component is made of 100% human hair for realistic results. The hair is hand-implanted with accurate hairlines, natural growth patterns and varying hair densities—just like real clients! Soft hair and flexible ears contribute to the realistic features that prepare students for future models and clients.

The complete Component Education System includes:

	SNAP CAP HEADFORM—Uses one headform allowing the snapping on of various sections of hair to work on.
	MULTI-PURPOSE HEADFORM—An integral part of the system used in conjunction with all other component pieces. Available plain or with a grid, in light or dark PVC.
	DESIGN CAP—Clear, plastic component fits over the headform (men’s or ladies’) and is perfect for drawing various shapes, designs and parting patterns without permanently marking the headform.
	SWATCHES, STRANDS and WEFTS—A small segment of hair that helps students develop hand/eye coordination.
	RECTANGLE BASE—A short, rectangular-shaped section of hair that fits the back or top of the head; ideal for sculpting or perming techniques.
	SILHOUETTE BASE—A long, rectangular-shaped section of hair that fits the center of the head from forehead to nape; great when used for roller placement.
	CIRCLE BASE—Used in long hair design; positioned anywhere on the head, excellent for chignons.
	BACK BASE—Used in long hair design, positioned at the back of the head; wonderful for braiding.
	TOP BASE—Used in men’s sculpting, positioned at the crown; used for flat-top clipper cuts.
	NAPE BASE—Used in men’s sculpting, positioned at the nape; perfect for practicing clipper-over-comb techniques.
	PROFILE BASE—Half a head of hair, which helps students master blending techniques and various color techniques.
	SLIP-ON—Exclusive one-piece, injection-mold procedure ensures a glove-like fit to the multi-purpose headform; great for any number of techniques without the cost of a full head.
